Club Events

In addition to our annual Race Series, the Lynchburg Road Runners Club hosts a variety of free events throughout the year designed to support your training and build community. From fun runs to social gatherings and educational meetups, our events bring together runners of all paces and distances. Whether you're new to running or a seasoned marathoner, there's always something happening to help you stay motivated and connected.

00 Day Kick Off to the VA 10 Miler

Join us Thursday, June 18 2026, as we celebrate 100 days until race day with a FREE community fun run/walk from First Christian Church on Rivermont Avenue. Follow a scenic out-and-back route along portions of the Virginia 10 Miler course through Riverside Park. Whether you're training for the Virginia 10 Miler, thinking about signing up, or simply looking for a fun evening with fellow runners and walkers, we'd love to see you there! We will have Rookies Ice Cream for the first 100 people and we have vintage 10 miler shirts. The shirts are free for current LRRC members and $5 for non-members.
